Squint Surgery

When the eyes do not point in the same direction, the muscles that move them can be adjusted so the eyes align. It is performed on both adults and children, and improves double vision as well as the way the eyes look.

About squint surgery

A squint (strabismus) is a misalignment of the eyes, where one eye turns in, out, up or down while the other looks straight ahead. It can cause double vision, eye strain and self-consciousness, and can affect adults as well as children.

Squint surgery gently adjusts the muscles that control eye movement to bring the eyes back into alignment – improving both comfort and appearance. Our specialists assess each case individually to recommend the best approach.
